Frequently Asked Questions.
Where are the workshops held?
Unless otherwise specified, workshops are held at the studio in Brooklyn, Sydney (just shy of an hour north of the CBD). The address is 1 Bridge Street, Brooklyn NSW 2083.
The studio is flooded with natural light, has its own private bathroom and is fully air-conditioned.
What's the best way to get there?
Either by car or by train (the station is fewer than two minutes' walk). Here are the directions.
What should I wear?
Your daggies. Chances are, you're going to make some mess! It's best to wear enclosed shoes, too.
What do I need to bring?
Most workshops include all materials, so just yourself. Once you've bought your ticket, we'll email you the particulars.
And don't forget your specs! Some of the classes require fine handwork. We take no responsibility for squinty wrinkles.
Will the workshops be catered?
Of course. Feeding people is one of our greatest pleasures. Catering is in-house, too; think homemade ice cream, jams and cakes, eggs from our own chooks—even our own corned beef and 'kraut.
(If you've a particular dietary requirement, please let us know when you nab your ticket and we'll make arrangements for you.)
Depending on the time of day and the duration of the workshop, you'll either receive morning tea, afternoon tea, lunch—or all three. Check the workshop you're interested in for full details.
What if I can't make it anymore?
We can't offer you a refund, but with 24 hours' written notice, you can send someone in your place.
Can I pop in on the day without a booking?
Generally, no. Workshops are catered and teachers plan for a certain amount of students—but if you're in the area, it's always worth checking for last minute cancellations.
Can I buy a gift voucher?
Of course. Please get in touch to make arrangements.
Do you offer private workshops?
We do indeed. These are perfect for corporate days, birthdays, hens and bucks. Please contact us so we can put together the workshop for you.
